Merit list for a selected course and selected category can be generated only for approved students. Merit is based on Date of Merit Generation (Merit cut-off date), Counseling Round (Date of Admission of Course) and Merit Score. Students who have been admitted in first counseling, to enter the same Counseling Round and correct Date of Admission (date of fee submission), so that all those students can be considered in the same group for merit generation. Similarly students who will be admitted in second/third counseling(s) to enter the next same Counseling Round and correct the Date of Admission (date of fee submission) .
Hostel is not available for day scholars residing within 40 kms distance (including those coming from Mohali, Sohana, Kharar, Kurali, Panchkula, Pinjore, Kalka, Derabassi, Zirakpur etc.),
The physical counseling for the admission in M.Sc. (Physics) and M.Sc. (Physics) (Specialization in Electronics) is scheduled on 8th August 2023 in the Department of Physics, Panjab University Chandigarh from 9:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
